FLUID ROTARY UNION – FRU

FRU is an element used for fluid transfer to angular motion system from a fixed spot. It is used in environments that display yaw motion such as radars and wind turbines and usually used for the transfer of cooling fluid. It was designed by considering its suitability to the military standards such as working temperature range, shock and vibration profile.

FRU design, a national production project, is a multidisciplinary project consisting of various different subjects such as fluid modeling, mechanical design and tribology. FRU designed was supported with analysis and tests in line with fluid modeling, mechanical design and rotation seal between rotating parts requirements and design, production and mountings stages are completed with success.

SLIP RING

Slip ring is a system that provides electrical power, data, fluid and gas transmission between the units on fixed platforms and units on Nx360° rotating platform.  There are hundreds of power and signal lines on it, eight channel fiber optic at the center. ANOVA started slip ring projects in 2014 and has achieved the development of slip rings that can used in four different general systems by 2017.

MILITARY REDUCTOR PROJECT

Within the framework of meeting local reductor deficit, optimization of gear box that was developed from a software supported design according to power flow and resistance criteria, maintained. Mechanic design of the reductor that can smoothly work between-40 °C +70 °C range by maintaining sustainability in safety coefficient and economic lifetime, was completed with success. It will be included into defense industry inventory after its production by local gear producers.

CARGO NET PROP

Cargo Net Prop is an auxiliary structure that allows stretching of nets used in the cargo department of Airbus A319, A320, A321 type aircrafts and helps to keep all products still and together. In the original design, key mechanism on the prop that is used to affix net to the aircraft may become inoperable in time due to deformation.  Cargo net prop design was developed in the light of calculations and analysis and following its completion with success, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has approved that they could be used for all Airbus type aircrafts.

AC/DC TRANSFORMER CARD

Power management carries great importance for in all systems. Power electronics basically examines energy control and transformation of energy forms into each other. Power electronics is made up of two parts; first is the energy management and the second is transformation of energy.

In aviation sector, hardest stage of power electronics is the cooling of heated integrations of power electronics elements. Heat emerges due to loss during the energy transformation. It is important to maintain fault-free function under hard conditions by carrying out temperature analysis and simulation tests in order to prevent this heat to damage other systems and keep working temperature range of modules within required parameters.

AC/DC transformer cards designed for both energy management and energy transformation according to military and aviation standards are capable of making power electronics design by producing AC/DC convertors with single or 3 phase inlet; 90% -95% productivity, between 300 W – 9KW and between 220 VDC – 400 VDC. Our card is designed by taking EMI, EMC tests into consideration and isolated infrastructure was formed between AC and DC power lines. Our design has the capability of fault-free working at (-55) – (+115 ) C° temperatures.
